Susan Milan, international recording artist and professor at the Royal College of Music in London, will be a resident artist from March 22-27. She will teach lessons, conduct master classes, coach chamber music, and present workshops.

Susan Milan, international recording artist and professor at the Royal College of Music in London, will be a resident artist from March 22-27. She will teach lessons, conduct master classes, coach chamber music, and present workshops.
Susan Milan is one of the UK’s leading flautists and a highly respected teacher. A Scholar at the Royal College of Music, she was immediately appointed Principal Flute with Bournemouth Sinfonietta after graduation and four years later became the Principal Flute and first woman member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. After leaving the RPO she rapidly emerged as an international soloist and now regularly performs with major orchestras in Britain and Europe. She tours extensively throughout Europe, Scandinavia, USA and the Far East. Susan Milan is a Professor at the Royal College of Music. She was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College in November 1999 which was presented to her by HRH Prince Charles.
